2025 PRACTICAL HUNTING EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

Castelvetro di Modena (Italy)

The ninth edition of the European Practical Hunting Championship took place on September 6th and 7th, for the fourth consecutive year in Castelvetro di Modena, Italy.

Five dogs were entered in the Derby, but none were selected for victory. Forty Red Irish Setters of five different nationalities, divided into two groups of ten pairs, competed over the two days.

The terrain was difficult and the shifting winds challenged our favorites, who fought back with every weapon at their disposal.
